The main body of the mask consists of three plies of polypropylene ultrasonically welded together on all sides. At the top and bottom borders of the mask, the three plies of the mask are folded to form a hem.
A length of plastic-coated wire is inserted into the top hem of the mask (nose band) to allow the top of the mask to be formed around the user’s nose to improve the fit and seal.
